GSXfun,
That is a really smart fix. I never thought of trying to create more contact area at the point of contact. It just makes sense.
I'm running out to get a chunk of 3/4" heater hose today.
I'll let you know my testing of it.
As far as the fat pig whore, well, that fat sweaty stuff makes me ill.
Super skinny to the bone is sick too. Just nice average weight with curves is the best. Hope wife aint reading this crazy post.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've added a rubber hose around it ,havn't tested it yet ,won't stop raining here.

Another cheap mod or fix.
Hey guys,
I want my handlebars to be more of a straight across feel, not the angled back as they are stock. Would it be possible to use a long pipe for leverage over the grips and bend the bars more straight, and thus also get a bit wider stance for free. Would I just wreck shit, or do you think it would work.
I guess you'd get only one shot at it. Is it a crazy idea or what?
I don't want to go thru the hassle and expense of new handlebars, just want to tweak the bend of the stock bars.

The tighter the waste band, the deeper the quicksand, or so I have read.
