I have looked for a picture of the instrument cluster taken at night.
All of the web photos I have found show it with some ambient lighting
making it hard to see the dash lighting clearly.
Anyone here want to post one?
I have a bit of a fetish regarding a well designed and lighted dash.
After all, it is something you look at quite a bit.
The 650F dash looks great and is well laid out and I read that the lighting is red which is good because it doesn't mess up your night vision.
Or I can just go buy one and see for myself... :D
I like this idea...

I'm sorry I don't have a photo, but like you I love a well-designed and easy-to-read dash and I can promise you you won't be disappointed. Something slightly magical happens at night and the white tachometer turns black with red highlights, the needle lights up red and you get a really clear view of your revs; the LCD speedometer section is really easy to read with crisp black-on-red, and you can change the brightness of the lighting to suit your tastes.

But as I've failed to provide a photo, I agree the only way you can find out is to buy a GSXF.
