well being a 09 it's two years old (why pay retail for a 2 year old bike) nada is only 5500 bucks so you would take a 2 k hit as soon as you by it. no thanks tell them 6 k or walk

My local dealer here in Colorado has a brand new 2008 model on sale for $4,999 There is no difference with the 09 models as far as I know, except for color schemes.
If they ask more in FL: book a flight to Denver for $200, buy the bike, and ride it back home

Overhere, the bikes (and cars) are very expensive due to enormous tax we have to pay on new cars and bikes. Normally a bandit 650SA sells for 7999 euro (=11000 US dollar !!!!) and now Suzuki gives a discount of 3000 Euro. that's 30% off the price, makes it relative cheap. I bought a GSF650SA, and going to get the last red one today.

Da's inderdaad een hele goeie deal Lampie Post maar wat foto's zodra je die Bandit hebt opgehaald
The crazy tax system in Holland (and most of Europe) is one of the reasons I left the country. I have been living in Colorado for the last 6 years and I love it. Don't think I will ever leave
I told my brothers about the Suzuki discount on the Bandits. But they are only interested in supersports. Too bad. I love my GSX650F and I have always liked the Bandits as well.

Like others have hinted at, this dealer is in dreamland. That might have been list in early 2009. List by the end of last year, when the bike was on clearance and when I bought my bike, was more than a grand less than what you worked them down to.

Colorado Powersports in Thornton: http://www.copowersports.com/default.asp It was a black GSX650F. I saw it 2 weeks ago when I picked up some oil and an oil filter.
As you've seen from the posts the dealer there has inflated their price. I think if you just look around FL, and on the internet, Craigs list for instance, you'll find new or low miles ones for a lot less. I bought a 2008 for $5500, 0 miles here. Some found the same think, new, 0 miles for $1000 less. Look at what the used ones are selling for to gauge what the bike is worth. There are a couple on eBay, used, where the bids are at $2K-$3K. The dealers were getting incentives to get these out of the warehouse. So be warned, if you pay the + $7K for one, you will probably lose half that as soon as you ride it off. I see the same thing for the 2009's, there are a bunch of new ones left over because of the economy. If you want to work with that dealer just tell him outright that you've found one farther away for $5500. They will either deal or not...Also, check out all the dealers within 100 miles or so. There must be a ton down there in the Miami area and up to Orlando.
