Hi all, 'been reading these boards for a few months now, but seeing as I brought home my "new" K8 model today I thought I should introduce myself. I'm Matt, I'm 38yo and I'm a serial bike abuser - this all changes today...
I've only clocked up 50-odd kilometers on it but I'm pretty happy with my purchase so far - got a good deal from a mate and it hasn't quite done 10000K's yet so I consider it "just broken in". It's very clean and untouched; immediate mods planned are some tank protection, pickup spools and frame sliders. Later on I may swap to a Yoshi can and a PCIII, but I'll ride it stock for the time being.
And I've got a bit of touring planned already: down to Hobart and back before year-end for a start! Looking forward to racking up the K's on this baby
