Yesterday ...... Wayyyyyy too hot for my taste into a turn. And mean WAYYYYY too hot. Remembered the sage advice ..... Look, Lean, BELIEVE. And been said by many others in different phrasings. The bike and good set of tires pulled me thru what otherwise woulda been bad ending to a great day of riding. Modern tires are amazingly good. Not many riders can exceed their limitations, unless get sloppy and hamfisted and clubfooted with control inputs.

It's situations like that that reinforce my belief of investing in schools/trackdays etc. The amount of stuff I've learned and confidence I've gained at the California Superbike School has really helped me enjoy my riding a lot more and made me less like a cat on hot bricks in situations like you've just discussed!
