Hey Guys so I took my GSX650F to a race track in South East England called Lydden Hill and had a blast with a good friend on his K1 Gixxer 600. I had my Yoshi closed circuit competition use only exhaust, Pirelli Diablo Rosso tires, my new 2 piece Alpinestars Monza suit and my God given balls. I have video on my GoPro as well but somehow youtube does not like the video so i gave up trying to upload it... should probably try again long and short is that the F was seriously fun on the track especially after i completely stiffened the front forks to reduce the nose dive which made a huge difference. The only downside to the day was that due to the low position of the footpegs and my large size 48 boots, i kept shaving off my toe slider... you should see it now The track instructor followed me around for a few laps and ended up telling me, and i quote "you are doing impressive times ... leaving black marks all over the track... but this is not a sports bike... it is too spongy and bouncy so go and tighten up the shocks but you really want to be on a sports bike judging by the way you ride"... i was glowing with pride after he said this.

*LIKE!* Good stuff mate! Try uploading that video to Photobucket so we can have a look can you? I've been thinking of doing a track day on my F and have been keen to see what some other people think of the bike on the track... Sounds like you may be interested in the foot peg risers that whitey found for me. It's a bit of fucking around to get the gear shifter etc right, but i kept dragging peg in the middle of corners, so well worth it for me adjustable-rear-sets-t4276.html
Nice job on that rear tyre though!

ok guys... pardon the video sound... i did not have the o-ring in my Go-Pro camera and also had the microphone set to high sensitivity - resulting sound absolutely sucks
this was the second half of a 15 minute stint... we were restarting because someone had highsided and was getting medical treatment... fastforward to 1:20 or so http://s1049.photobucket.com/albums/s397/fa5tbob/
