Wanted to correct my above statement, right now more like 5400rpm at 73mph but this may change slightly due to more adj for my speedohealer.

Wonder how the chrome would look. anyone else have some feedback on these, only real advantage im thinking is the more sturdier feel and metal peices.

I installed my Manic Salamanders on the weekend so I thought I would also contribute some comparison photos. I didn't get the results I was hoping for, but thats ok coz I know they will be needed on my next bike (a twin) and also the method they are installed will make it so much easier to add and remove the heated grips I shall shortly acquire.

Sorry they did not fully meet your expectations. I do like mine but the bb's, the grip puppies and the gloves I am wearing probably all contribute too.

Have you tried gloves with the gel in the palm where it meets the grip?

I think my next step will be taller risers so that I have nearly no weight on my hands at all. After that, it will be grip puppies and then i will look into gel-palms. Dont get me wrong, the vibes really are miniscule, I am just chasing perfection ! It only becomes a problem on really long rides which I wont be doing for a while now that winter is here.

am giving serious thought to putting another handlebar on, its just so close to perfect but I am older than you and probably just need to start guzzling more brew!
