I have seen on other forums where someone will contact manufactures and ask about a group rate of some sort, where everyone that is interested in the part can all buy at the same time "discounted". Wonder if we could possibly do the same thing?

they are typically called group purchases...

get 10 or more people wanting the exact same thing, and you might get lucky...under 10 though, not gonna get much of a deal if any.

NOTE: I have run several group purchases for a national car club...hence why I know ;)

ya but it really has to be for sure thing. I've seen many group buys die on my car forum. You run the risk of people backing out or never being able to get a hold of them. But then again when it goes down right it's a great thing. And being as this bike is up and coming, if you find something everyone wants it could go over well.

true...which is why I always required payment IN FULL before any GP was called in....I'd get the price, let the club know...and then when people payed...I publicly posted it so everyone knew who was holding up the GP from happening....

I'll be more than happy to start one up...just have to get what people want. exhaust? Screen? Gel seat?

Exhaust. I like the Devil slip on that tucks up close to the tail, but Two Brothers, Yoshi, or just about any other will be fine by me.

Kodiak Kid ,can you do people from other countrys ..like me.. also in a GP.
If so how do I send the cash. :?

You guys get everything cheaper in the Uk and USA.

For example ,a Suzuki back rest for my cruiser was $800 here and $400 in the USA ,and its almost dollar for dollar exchange.

yes...I did work with all other countries...the only difference is shipping cost...which I would find out upfront before any money is exchanged.

And payment was always via paypal.

If we do Muffs, I might be able to swing a % discount with the option of 3 different manufacturers. Yoshi, twobros, and Scorpion. I found a place that sells all 3, with the carbon, stainless, and titanium versions.

Post up if you'd be interested...If there is aenough interest, I will start making calls and negotiating.

would love to have a 2bros muffler. it would have to be aluminum for me because of the price. I might still have to wait until my tax refund comes in next year to get one. Started back to college and classes aren't cheap.

Well, the can I'm interested in is in that group - a carbon fiber Scorpion. So count me in as well.
