well all i can type is OH WOW. With the front and rear now German, HUGE difference. three items i notice big time, first 650 with the clip ons will very happy to LEAN way in on the corners, two engine not working as hard. And i notice just pushing 650 around the garage very easy now.

I asked my sales guy Joe @ CC Powersports, how come the bstone front felt soft, even with correct air pressure, he told me sometimes the side walls will break down even with good tread showing, i did not know that.

And for me a lot careful riding now, my 650 is aa more Sport Bike and will not be as forgiving when ridden. That said it really a blast to ride now.

You've got the model numbers wrong.

The Interact Z8 is on the BMW K1600GT (L)
The Interact Z6 is on older tire (developed in 2003)

The Z8 is comparable with the Pilot Road 2, Roadsmart, BT023 where the Z6 is more like the older BT021.

Yup, got the beast the 18th of may. Put on about 900 miles till today and keeps getting better :D Only 2 downsides, consumes more fuel (about 35-38mpg) and has less stable in (cross)winds.

Plus side:
Weighs only 209kg/460lbs after the Mivv GP exhaust install
All the torque available at 2500rpm onwards
Handles like a dream although front end is a bit stiff for bad roads
Brakes like hitting a brick wall

The day I took it home was also the day this forum went down mysteriously?!! Thought it was a goner for good, but good to see its back.

Can it use regular, or does it take premium ?

We only have 2 types of fuel here in the Netherlands.
Regular (PON 95)
Premium (PON 98)

I always fill it up with regular.

During one of my trips to Germany (Eifel) I accidently put in some 98 rated fuel. Twice. The engine didn't do anything better/worse then with the 95 fuel. Also no increase/decrease in fuel consumption. For the high spec BMW S1000RR/Aprilia RSV4 or other new bike I think 98 could be better but for any other normal bike 95 would suffice!

We could argue this for days, and both be right ;)
For mine though, I believe the higher octane to be kinder to the injectors and cleaner on the engine internals. And that's good enough for me.
The price difference in Sydney at the moment is about 15pf/litre, so about 3 Kroner a tank - I can live with that.
(Do you see what I did there?)

You don't use Kroner and Pfennig?
Boy was I wasted in Amsterdam a few years back then...

edit: OK so I'm a little slow today, obviously. Euro, right? Just for reference, what does a gram of Red Lebanon go for in the coffee shops, in Eurobucks?

Hahaha

Kroner/Pfennig are used in Switzerland! Euro is correct :)

And it may come to a shock to you, but not everybody in the Netherlands smokes or grows pod!   Never ever smoked a sigarette in my life!
A quick google search got me prices between 8-10 euro a gram.
