A word of advice if you are having adhesive issues. When I installed my HID upgrade the adhesive strip that came with the kit for the box would not hold the box to the fairing in the Texas heat. So for about $5 i bought a roll of velcro that had adhesive backing on both sides and since using it I have not had an issue with the box falling off.

How did you get the area under the seat lit up. I have looked under there and cant find a good place to mount any. Can you snap a couple pictures of where you mounted em to and what kinda lights you used. It might be easier to mount pods under there and I've been using strips. Ill follow with a few pics of my bike.

A few pics of mine, sry for the crappy pictures my camera sucks balls. Replaced the red led's in the gauge with blue ones. I still have a couple more light strips to put on. You know a project is never really done. Havent found anyplace under there I can mount them that wont get hot. Maybe I'm missin it.

BigJay- I'll take some new pics and point out what I can. I used pods for most of those interior areas. They will get hot but just make sure it's not touching anything and your adhesive is strong or use zip-ties. Your kit is better than mine! I looked at similar lights for the front but had and LED around the perimeter and a halo angel eye in the middle. The site only had R1 mods; I was concerned about it fitting flush.

Ok Gents (and any ladies)- My apologies. I left out a few areas to adhere your lights to in my earlier diagram. Take a look at the updated picture for a quick reference. The placement off all lights are symetrically placed on the other side. The green arrows show the directional light.
1> A pod is placed under where your passenger would sit and is pointed at the rear tire. 2> A pod is placed on a flat panel that is almost between the passenger foot pegs and the rider's heel guard so it may point at the spring. 3> A pod is placed under each of the Decepticon decals. If you can see where the tip of the arrow is pointing, there is a flat black area- not recomended because it get hot, dirty and the pod may be a bit exposed. 4> A strip is placed about an inch or 2 cm from the outer lip of the fairing vent. 5> 2 pods are under the front cowl that point downward to the front tire.

A dumb question? Are these lights legal in the States? I thought they are not street legal because they distracts other drivers on the road. Someone please clarify.

Zook I would check your local and state laws....
I personally remember reading they aren't illegal as long as they aren't blue, beacuse that color is reserved for law enforcement officials..... but I see Harley riders around here with them and I've yet to see anyone get pulled over for them ever
