TorqueDude,
Thanks for posting the website link for GSX 650F shirts and stuff!
I think I'm going to buy a hoody with the "F" on it. They look real cool!!
I finally noticed that the screws had plastic caps on. I will be more attentive and patient and less eager next time.

Folks,
Forgive me but I may be missing something here. I just received my mirror extenders and I am eager to install them. The heads of the stock screws/bolts that anchor the mirrors to the frame are perfectly round. How do you remove them? Nothing in the standard tool kit that came with the bike seems to fit. Do I have to remove parts of the fairing?
Thanks and pardon my ignorance.

Just got 'em, installed, work and look great! I did notice that you have to remove the rubber gasket in order to make a flush fit. Apparently, the material they're made from performs the same function.

I have them as well and they are from Burkhart Cycle.
They do have a listing for our bike. Burkhart is on Ebay but, it is even less money to deal with Burkhart direct. I had them in 2 days.
The fit is very good and if you did not point them out nobody would be the wiser of their presence.
Also ordred a pair for my brothers Katana 600. I could not see anything proir. (Except my shoulder!) I have also installed the small convex mirrors from cycle gear.
Between the two items, They are the best safety improvment yet on the bike.

the round part on top is just a plastic plug. take a small flatblade screwdriver and pop them out
