Well, I'm pretty interested in them installed. Can't wait for pics. Good Luck.

Just my two cents on how I dealt with the issue of the funny looking indicators and the short-stemmed mirrors.

I purchased mirror extenders, which are about 1" of hard plastic that just fits between the base of the mirror and the faring, giving you a better view behind you. IMHO, also looks a bit better.

I have now just ordered some MoTrax Faring D Lights (Clear) which sit flush on the faring - order online from intobikes.co.uk or CycleGear.

I'll try to post pics once they are installed.

AED,
Did you purchase the extenders from holeshot.com? I was thinking about purchasing them but wasn't sure if it made a difference on being able to see better behind the bike.

AED / Panchog66, I just installed the same indicators from motrax and you can see them from the front so don't worry. I think they look great and Ill post some pics tomorrow. I also bought the suzuki indy leads so wiring was dead easy.

I had to make one small modification on the original spacer though. The black spacer has a small tube sticking out so i had to saw it off for the fit i wanted. I suppose you could buy the spacers but they were £4.99. Hope this helps

They really look nice. Great job. I'm liking it.

Can you take a pic from the front? I'm curious how they look.

Thanks

with the new lights recessed into the fairing, I am curious as to how visible they are from the front.

can you please post a picture from head on with the light on? also one from the front right side with the left side one on? this would simulate you stopped and turning right as seen by a driver in the opposing lane (US driving on right side of roadway)

thanks

IsaaX - they make a huge difference to visibility behind you. No more elbows at all.

Thank you Danny. I like the way the signals are looking. I'm leaning more towards purchasing them. Thank you for the pics.

I also thought this would be a good idea/ look for the 650F. Has anyone else had any luck changing the mirrors out?

I switched out my mirrors with These. As stated before they could have spent more time on the quality but overall I am happy with them. The switch was a snap but i would recommend doing custom work to the mirror themselves.
