I thought black rims just didn't do the bike any justice. I considered the polished alloy option but went with having them painted and think the results speak for themself.

Total cost = $400AUD
Bitch to keep clean = probably
Worth it? = Hell Yes !!!

I like this !

Gives the bike just a little more..... looks.

Great job

Perhaps add a little color to it, like blue rim reflection tape, or the same colour as the F on the fairing..

Looks AWESOME ,nice work. 8)

I would do this straight away if I had a blue one ,might be a pain to clean but would be worth it.

I've seen a black one with gold rims looks ok ,wonder what mine would look like with red rims 8)

Photoshop for me anyone. :D ^^^^^

Looks awesome! The new look really sets the bike off... Now why didn't I think of that.

Looks hot! I've been thinking about turning mine red but I'm sure the bike won't have any red for too much longer.

Yeah I hate cleaning the rims its a pain in the arse.

TILL !!! I got one of these .
http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/rollasta ... astand.htm

Cost $100 ,will last of ever if you look after it .
But sooo easy to throw it under the rear wheel and lube chain in seconds and clean the rims front and rear.
Grab a milk crate to sit on , spin the wheel and wash it ,take seconds. :D

I got something similar to that.

Motorcycle Cleaning Stand

It has a ramp and is about 1/3 the cost.

Looks awesome- I am seriously thinking of getting wheels powder coated white. Who cares if they are hard to keep clean- they look great. :D

yea acutally!!!

ALERT*************

easy way to keep your rims clean? buy a container of ARMOR-ALL PROTECTANT wipes. these wipes will keep your rims soooo clean for a good 500 miles! i did this to my wheels and they are still shining after 450miles!!!!!!

Curious to know if it was difficult to have done- did you take the wheels off yourself?
