I'm on day 3 with the swmotech up and back riser - I love it.

I still wish the seat didn't suck so bad but most stock seats suck. What I really dislike is how I almost always end up all up in the tank like its my g/f. I'd like to get the corbin but if the main seating area is still WAY too far back (I have NORMAL arms, not long basketball player arms), I can't justify the coin for the seat.

a KUDOS to Human Potato; The front forks besides spring and oil change
cartridge emulators can be installed. So if a lot of two up or fully
packed for camping and tour the front forks can be twiked.

TwistedThrottle had pair of customer-returned 1" up/back risers for 30% discount. So gonna give 'em a try.

Instead of a new seat how about just putting more padding on it? I put a few miles in on a regular basis and after about 90 minutes I have to stop and get off. As I did not want to spend the money on a new seat I got the AirHawk 2 seat cushion last week and after riding back from DC to Charlotte I can say it is well worth the money. I can now ride until I need to stop for gas without my butt going numb or hurting. It is just under $100 so it really beats buying a new seat.

Bolted them on yesterday. Seem to be great.
Doing day ride west of Madison, WI, on Sunday. That should tell the tale for sure!

I took the advise to take LONG test ride on vfr. I agree that even by raising bars I'll still likely be in too aggressive position for miles/miles ride.

I did the same thing. The VFR riding position was too aggressive for me, and I did not like the engine/drivetrain set-up at all. Everything about that bike felt odd to me, whereas the 650F felt totally natural from the start, even though I was coming from a touring bike background.
