Hello Fellow Bikers,

Really need your help on this one..

Does anyone know where i might be able to purchase/have delivered an original centre stand for the K9 within the UK for around £85. it has to be within UK as iv booked the bike in for its 4000 mile service and they said they'll put it on for free on sat 8th May...only problem now is that last year it cost £85 for the stand, but their supplier is now charging £135 for the stand. just seems silly as the service itself is gonna cost £145 which was more than i wanted to pay for it in the first place. Iv searched on the net and have had no joy. I know there are afew international sites selling for this price, but they wont arrive in time.

would ideally like it to be new, but if anyone knows someone who may be getting selling an old one in good condition then i would reallly appreciate it, as the garage said they would still put it on even if i was able to buy my own one.

many thanks in advance everyone, wrote this in a hurry so i hope it makes sense.. :D

Make sure you get the little rubber grummet for the exhaust pipe as well, this will stop vibration from the 2 rubbing, the lug on the pipe is already there.

Thanks for all your help everyone!

i ended up asking the dealer to order it in and fit it as part of the service without a fee, as they checked their system again and its also coming up at around 130Euros so i instead of ordering it from abroad it'll be more convienient getting it from the dealer.

Thanks again for all your excellent help as always folk!!! :) :)

FWIW, I installed the Suzuki center stand (I think it is the same part as the Bandit 1250) and it works great. Much more stable than the kickstand. I use it whenever possible. Also the bike takes up less space in the garage on the center stand.

That's the best thing I've put on mine! I forgot how nice it is to have one- back in the day before everybody got so weight obsessive, almost all bikes had one.
