the orange is the same price as the other ones in quebec

misunderstanding on the cost...the 2008 and 2009 are EXACTLY the same machine except for the color. So if you want the Orange one and your dealer still has 2008 they are on SALE

and everyone is still buying up the 2008 models in black or blue.

The 2009's have ABS, that is the only difference.

Yeah they don't have ABS in the US..I was prepared to pay the extra $ for the ABS/Orange..but not just for orange.

Then I realized that the ABS version is available in Canada and other parts of the world. I wonder why?

Us Americans don't appreciate ABS, we'd rather get a cheaper bike for some stupid reason...I could have used it a couple of weeks ago when I locked up my rear wheel in an emergency. No drop, but close...
