Just fitted some Oxford Sportsbike Hot Grips, I had read elsewhere(not this forum) that these are correct for our bike. It took me 90mins filing off the extra plastic bits on the throttle, you need to get it all down to the same diameter, I had to remove throttle first (2 screws) and then file off the outer thin 0.5mmm shoulder and the inner about 2mm before I could slide the throttle side grip on. The rest was easy and they work really well too! I ended up using the plate which attaches the controller to the clutch mounting bolts, moving up my TomTom first. Of course I thought it was going to be a 30minute job, ..it never is!!!

had mine for a year or more now. excellent bit of kit. I bought a spare throttle pipe from Suzuki and modded it before fitting it ! Thus less risk of getting bits of plastic swarf in the guts of the throttle system. All I had to cut off was the outer end flange and the inner end larger flange. The main pipe body was the correct diameter for the new grip. A small of double sided tape stops any movement.

They certainly put out enough heat, don't they! I have taken mine off during summer so I could put some foam grips on (to absorb vibration), so when i put them back on this winter I think I will use an angle grinder on the throttle tube. Last time I put them on I had to actually use a hammer to get them all the way on, and that was after trimming down the plastic ribs.
