Thinking about painting the "air ducts" .
I have the all black bike and have added some carbon stickers etc and red rim tape just to brake the full black look up abit ,so im thinking about painting the air ducts {yes I know they are fake} in a dark red .
Thoughts???
Seen on another gsxr forum ,they said just tape up the area and spray it several times in colour and same with clear ...seems easy enough and I guess if I don't like it I can spray it black or silver again.
See how the blue bike has them in black and they stand out and look abit like eyes.
But on the meaner looking black bike ,you can't even see them at all .

I am curious to see what that would look like. I say try it. If you dont like it you can always paint it back the way it was.
I recomend matching the red pigment of the rim tape just to have some sort of uniformity look to it.
If you do it, take pics and post it.

There it 1 rubber gromet inside under the cats eye in air ducts ,would be good for a neon red light ,for a laught ,...I have to much time to kill some times.

Looks great. It seems that it would only be fitting the black bikes. I dont think it would look good on the blue bikes like mine.
I just may stick with the blue/white color scheme for now.

Sleddog - Dude that looks awsome - nice job.. Man I wish the all black was available here - I would have bought that in a heart beat (I am a sucker for all black or all red bikes).... I just noticed the mesh over the fairing openings - is that custom or stock on an Aussie Bike??
