Bike's in the shop, getting dyno tuned... mod list so far...

NO air filter (for now, couldn't see through the paper, and couldn't trust it not to be a bottleneck as a result, K&N going in soon)

Opened up airbox.

well it doesn't make the horsepower I thought, and I don't really mind. 80 at the back wheel, well and good, considering after 16700 miles of sheer torture every other day...

but it does pull cleanly, and clearly to 12,000 rpms now, with a pancake torque curve, instead of going cold, and rolling Down after 10,000.

baseline was just viciously rich by me, trying to keep the tune safe, making sure to not ping, and burn valves and pistons...

there ya have it. runs like it ought to. I'd bet it's a riot, if you got a new one, and ran it in on a dyno, then did all this. I bet closer to 90 would be had.

it bolsters cold performance, while spoofing the gear position sensor to 5th, to both eliminate timing retard, and bypass busa's, bking's, and 1000R's top speed limits. Those of you that still have 2nd butterflies, they open and enrich fuel much sooner as well.

it's a really trick unit that does everything an X-TRE does minus the retainer of the gear position indicator, and I got one used for 30 bucks.
