Went for a nice run last weekend to a place where a lot of bikes get together, called Pie in the Sky. It's a little cafe that serves a good coffee and a variety of pies and is located on the Old Pacific Highway - a fabulous twisty about 45 minutes from where I live. A group of 6 met at a servo at 8am then did the run. Kawasaki, Honda CBR1000RR, KTM, Hyosung and 2 GSXFs. We all behaved ourselves which was just as well, because on the return trip we saw a very nice policeman just setting up his radar on a favourite stretch (and his car was parked where it was almost impossible to see).

papa r, that looks like the Caltex at Kariong. I bet our friends in blue were at the divided section, a favourite location for them. Tell me, do they give you a hard time about your headlight cover. I want to get the same one when i get my 'F'. (only a couple of months to go, woohoo)

Cheers

Thanks JerryGSX - was great.

You're right eospro, that is the Kariong servo. The bloke in blue was on the twisties with his car parked in the scrub near the back way in to the Mt White weighstation, and no, they haven't questioned the headlight cover. I did have a motorcycle cop give me a nod the other day. Amazing !! Must like the bike !!

How soon before you get yours eospro ?

Too long, looking around late Oct. Suzuki at Cessnock are offering me a deal $1500 cheaper (including a pair of boots) than CC Motorcycles, who seem more interested in trying to sell me a SV or Gladius than win my business. In fact, i feel everytime i go they try to sell me everything except the 'F'. They just don't "listen". It's a shame cos they are so close. But i will goto whoever treats me the best and gives the best customer service. A happy customer is a return customer, and i'm just not happy every time i leave CC.

Cheers

PS. I think red rim tape would add a nice touch to your ride. Looks great on the black 'F' next to yours.

Hi Sleddog, Rick (black GSXF, blue jacket) would be interested too. I gave him the website details the other day.

Pulled into the Roadies on the way to the Pie, only a few bikes there. All the action happens at the Pie.
