hi sleddog

The only things i want is a sports rack and tinted flipscreen. So far suppliers say it should be same as so and so chassis, but until i get definite answer I will buy then.

I will be using mine as a tourer so will be visiting lots of new places and dont want to make it look too nice in case some turd decides to play with my toy as well!

BTW, liked your extended review about the gsxf. Helped me alot to decide on getting one. thanks.

I am tempted to get the hugger and double bubble screen. Looks nice.

Does anyone know whether the double bubble is better or worse for wind protection than a flip screen?

Thanks Sleddog for the referral on the screen. I contacted the company to see how I can purchase it in the US. $105.00 plus shipping. Not sure about if it's better than the flip screen but I've read on many posts from other forums on how well the double bubble works. Sure would be nice to have more then one choice. I'm about to pull the trigger on it.

I looked a few forums that talked about screens and it seems like the general consensus is the bubble is more aerodynamically correct and the flip might give you better wind protection. I think I'm leaning toward the now. PowerBronze has a flipup that will be shipping soon.

As i intend to use my bike for extended touring, i think i will wait for the powerbronze flipscreen. My bro' has the 1250 bandit flipscreen and it works well for wind protection, but granted its not as good-looking as the doublebubble. Still, praticality comes first for me.

Just ordered a flip screen from PowerBronze. At this point there is no ETA. I'll let everyone know what I think of it after I receive it and get it installed.

Got the powerbronze hugger today, and guess what, it didn't fit. Rang M and P (www.mandp.com) who I ordered it from, explained to them the problem. They rang Powerbronze, and yep, they said it need to be remodified as Suzuki has changed the location of the chain guard securing bolts.

So, back to the drawing board for Powerbronze, and a longer wait for me before I get it.

Pops

ps I noticed Easy 17's bagster, so have ordered one, Thanks Easy.
