Well, I finally got to drive my bike some, and I was really impressed with the way it drives, but unfortunatly, the wind hitting my helmet is seriously retarded. My GSX-R 750 seated upwards wasn't this bad.
I was doing about 120 - 130 km/h, and my head was really bouncing around.
So now I'm looking to get either the taller windscreen, or the PUIG, etc, etc.. Anyone that changed theirs please tell me what you found.
I'm 5'10", so I'm not super tall, but tall enough to get plastered by the wind. Any input is really appreciated.
Thanks
Don't blame it all on the windshield. It might be your helmet doesn't fit you well enough. I bought a Shoei that fits like a glove and wind is hardly a issue now, and I'm 6'2.

i want a screen that isnt longer. i just want stock length with the bubble in dark tint. anyone know any companies who do this?
Puig is probably your best bet. I had pics of stock vs PB vs Puig but I think they got erased. The PB is more slanted while the Puig is sloped. The overall length between all 3 are the same plus you can get the Puig for around $47+shipping on ebay.
I am new to the forum and will try to post some pics, but I just installed a ermax touring windscreen. Got it from sportmotogear.com which said it shipped in 2-3 days should have said more like 4 weeks. I'm glad there were install instructions on this forum!

I have the smoke Puig double bubble (racing) screen. Much better than the original in terms of wind protection. I am 1.8m tall and can now sit fully upright with no wind buffetting! The quality is pretty good, some very minor fit issues, nothing serious. Majority of the install time is taking apart the dashboard plastics.
I will post a how to as soon as I figure out how to post (new to the forum)
Sorry don't have a side pic right now, will post one later.

Is their any buffeting with the Puig screen? I have the PowerBronze screen and I am not happy with it. I get a ton of buffeting and I like the more rounded look myself.
I would venture no. Sitting straight as possible, I don't feel the wind. I would get a second opinion though, I'm not the tallest character.
I had pics of stock vs PB vs Puig side by side but I think they got deleted. The Puig's bubble seemed more aerodynamically correct.
Which Puig do you have. Tried to have my dealer order but did not know if you had the standard or the touring? Yours is exactly what I am looking for so I want to make sure I get the exact model. Nice mirrors btw. Would not mind knowing where you got those.??
