WARNING! Powerbronze AirFlow screen :o

Just installed the AirFlow screen and it was a pain in the :!: The bike alone presents its own problems but the screen is awful.
The top two mounting holes need to be drilled oversize about .04 (1 MM) or the rubber expansion grommets will not fit. The bottom two holes need to go at least .12 (3 MM) oversize for their grommets to fit correctly. Double checked the stock screen to make sure and drilled them to the stock specs.
The screen comes with a worthless piece of weatherstripping to seal it to the bodywork. Wouldn't need this if it actually had a consistent shape.
The front nosepiece that clips to the screen no longer fits correctly. The only thing you can do is trim the nose of the shield down or remove the tabs and use double sided tape for a tight fit.
The endmilled top edge looks horrible, sand it with 300 grit for an hour and it might look a little better.
Last but probably the worst, the shield has a good amount of distortion where the bubble starts. I'm sure it's much worse in the sunlight, can't wait to take it out tommorow! :x

P.S.> The PowerBronze sticker is pretty sweet  .

Thanks for the input Brian :D Have not heard of Powerbronze anything fitting very well.
Are stuck with the screen now that you had to modify it?? Any plans on contacting Powerbronze about the less than quality product you received??

Pictures... I would post them but they won't load off my desktop :( . It looks good on the bike it just has the flaws up close. I started to modify it before I noticed anything. I'm a machinist by trade so the hand fitting didn't really strike me as a problem at first. I just thought for $100 USD I'd get a better product :? .
I will say the shield offers much improved wind protection and the light tint makes a big difference in the overall look  .
I'm sanding the top edge with 400 grit and medium rubbing compound to remove the machining marks and will modify the front nosepiece by removing the hook tabs and installing hook and loop tape.
Overall, with alot of work it can be salvaged but I'd look elsewhere (maybe Puig). I'll be sending an email to the US distributor letting them know all of the problems. Maybe they can sort things out for future buyers :P .
