I've already posted a few times, but today I am officially an owner of a blue 2008 GSX65F! Thanks to everyone who has welcomed me thus far, this is a great place to get info and shoot the breeze. Cheers!
Just rode my 08 home today. I've been off a bike for the past 3 years and it feels AWESOME to be back in the saddle.
Looking forward to learning everything about the 650.
Regards!

Hi everyone!
My names Az and im from the UK, and as as you can tell, im a newbie both to this forum and suzuki over all! i passed last year and had a 1996 'ninja 250' to 'practice on'. i didnt even get to test ride the gsx650f. i had my heart set on it simply from all the reviews that i'd read about it. Its the best decision iv ever made. got a free restrictor kit aswell, but that'll come off in a years time.
i cant fault the bike at all so far. its simply amazing. i rode home on it on monday and have already done 150 miles in these four days! iv got the latest K9 model in the blue and white colour. the new orange paint was very tempting, but i thought as its my first suzuki its best to go with the tradional colours!
this is such an amazing site. packed with lots of info aswell as a nice bunch of people - LOVE IT!!

I just got mine last week and I love it. I am in Ohio, US and the drivers here are just as ignorant. It is nice to see such a good following for this bike, thanks everyone for sharing all of their experiences. My son liked it so much he parked his next to mine:

I just picked up a new, last years, 2008 GSX650F in black. I have only got about 100 miles on it so far and love it. The posts here, magazine reviews, and general internet feedback helped me make the decision.

Hi, folks. twowheeler here! I just took my beautiful new '08 blue and white 650f in for its first maintenance service, and I'm having withdrawal pains! I'm a new retiree proudly living in the Evergreen State, southern Puget Sound area. I finally have a bike after turning my last bike (street legalized Honda XR500) into a pickup canopy in 1980. My wife decided that she wasn't going to raise that child by herself (after I stupidly gave the little tyke a slow ride on the tank of that cycle). My first bike was a 350 scrambler purchased after I got my teaching job in 1968. When summer came, I took off for Canada for the great bike trip (jeans jacket and sleeping bag) and made it 150 miles to my former college. There, I changed my travelers checks into an engagement ring and slowly headed back home with a stupid grin on my face and a beautiful lady to spend the rest of my life with. Now, she says it's time for me to ride. Love that girl! I hope to learn a lot from you guys and gals. Gxrs forever!
