The dams were uninteresting but the ride and company was worth it. My fellow "F" troopers were nowhere to be found!?!?!? A GSX600R and CBR600RR kept my girl company.
Lovely downtown Wenatchee, WA.

Just love the glacier carved landscape of eastern Washington.

Came up to a friendly sign letting us know that the paved road is ending: Palisades to Devils Grade Road for those that need to know. This is us sitting on the side of the road contemplating going off-road. I checked and rechecked mileage and it should only last 4 miles.

Well we went for it. Sure, after putting in 4 miles of gravel road twisties (too bad it wasn't paved) carving its way through the canyon, sure enough 1/2 mile from the next turn we hit pavement. A left turn on Moses Coulee Road was time to scuff up and shake loose the gravel, then only 3 miles down the road, more unpaved, 3 to 4 inch loose gravel road. And yes, for another 4 to 5 miles. With that said, I didn't take time for pictures as I had enough things to do for these 8 or so miles. Ah yes, we made it back to a two lane hightway.

A quick 12 miles more and it was time to fuel (low fuel light came on during the last section of gravel road) and grab some grub at Grandpa Joe's in Coulee City.

On the way back to civilization, interstate I-90 was all locked up and we were stuck in the 2 to 5 mph accordion........this calls for a must stop Easton Saloon!
Watch out for snowmobiles!
