Hi homefront, I'm sorry about the loss of your son

Are you able to keep the sporty,i had a 96 model and regret selling it. On the bright side the 650f is a very good all round bike and I'm sure will give many years of enjoyment

I'll probably sell the Sporty and forget the whole bike idea altogether.
My son was struck and killed by a car, while riding his bike.
I no longer have the riding confidence I once did, and am not comfortable on our Northeast Extension or Pa Turnpike. I travel these roads daily for long distances, and they're jambed with high-speed traffic. I may just settle for a Corolla.

It would be a shame to leave motorcycling, maybe just have a rest and re evaluate the whole thing at a later time. Losing family is a very hard thing to come to terms with (I have been there myself). I can only suggest that you give this thing a bit of time, but it's what you are comfortable with in the long term. either way I wish you and you family the best.

regards

jim
