i was hoping to do the peak district run in the next few weeks. hoping to get to matlock bath and then across snakes pass and down to cat & fiddle. then straight back home.
any advice on that area, ie. road conditions, coppers with radar gun, other hazards, etc.

I was over the road several times this weekend ... Saturday was cold n horrible ... no other bikes around .. Sunday dawned wet n misty but by lunchtime was wall to wall sunshine .. good few bikes but not as busy as usual on a brite day .. guess the early clag put off the long distance visitors ..
living only a mile from the road makes it kinda easy for me to have a blast when the weather comes good !

Pretty close to peak district already done woodhead and snake pass to ladybower working up to C & F . Any shift workers around for rides out mid week ?
I'm aiming for snowdonia this saturday, all 565 miles of riding up to llanberis. Can't wait now that i have my newly acquired airhawk cushion, hein gericke 3-fingered pathan winter gloves and a box of heat packs!
Lets just say i'm taking no chances, but forecast looking good so far...
