I went with a clear tank protector. Couldn't decide what color so I decided why any color. They've been on for two years now and working perfectly. Instructions said to strip the paint of any wax, etc, before applying them. Did what they said and seems to work.
Sorry I don't have a better picture of them right now, but you get the idea. If you look real hard you can see it.

I like Judd's Tech Spec pads too. I don't have a dremel, and I don't think I'll be good with it in any case! :).

I'm trying to find one which would need minimal mods. I thought Bandit 1250's tank is similar to GSX650F's.

i use a Trojan or a magnum on my TANK, how is this related to bikes??
