In UK - part of the test to get full bike license involves some set manouvres at "speed" in a fenced off compound (e.g, reach 50kmh minimum then swerve round some cones and come to controlled stop in a marked out area.). When doing these one of the key requirements is to avoid excessive braking resulting in a skid. So - if you train on a bike with ABS - you have to remember that you do not want to brake severe enough for ABS to kick in - this could/will result in failure as examiner will view that in absence of ABS you will probably have skidded.
I took test on a single cylinder BMW 650 which had ABS - but I didn't manage to get ABS to kick in at any stage under braking whilst training and thankfully not during the manouvre tests.
