Hi I'm located in Sydney Australia and I want to thank all the members for a great informative forum. It has helped me with my decision to upgrade ( I'm coming off a GS500f) . I pick up a 2009 black one tomorrow actually! Happy days, I feel like a kid waiting for Santa to deliver the presents. Hurry up lets get this night over with!
Just found your forum, and having read quite a few post find it very informative, So hello from the UK, my bike is a 650f K8 in blue and white. My first bike after passing my test in November 2009. The poor bike is in the garage due to all this snow, can't wait to get back out on the road

Hi. I have just bought my GSX650F today. The dealer is delivering it tomorrow. My last bike was a 91 GSX600F. I hurt my knee a few years ago (snapped my ACL) and have not had a sports bike since. There was a brief look at cruisers, but decided they weren't for me. But all is well now and I can't wait for my bike to arrive.

Welcome Eileen,
We can't wait for your bike to arrive too!!. A first pic is always a custom on the forum. Congrat's on the purchase, and I hope you enjoy your 650F as much as we all do.

I bought mine Tuesday the 16th Feb. Rode it for an hour from the dealer back home.
That's as far as I've gone!! - Can't wait for the weekend to take her for a blast!
She's a 1 owner from new 2008 model in the faster Blue/White version only 4,700 miles
Here's some pics of her in the showroom:
Oh, this is my very first bike! And as soon as I got out of the showroom on her I was stuck in traffic - but that was good practice for my slow riding! (not confident on filtering yet!)
