Welcome Matt, I'm sure you will love riding the GSXF as much as the rest of us do. It really is a great bike and it just gets better. I have had mine 4 months and have already hit 12,000kms, and still can't ride it enough. Hope you enjoy this forum too. There is not much about the GSXF that the guys on here don't know.
Cheers

Welcome to the forum Matt and congratulations on your purchase. A great choice for a first bike!!!!. Many riders on this forum have purchased the 650F as a first bike too and have been absolutely grinning ear to ear with their satisfaction.
Stick around and you'll see this place has quite a few regulars that are happy to help out with any questions, the odd ride day and as always have a bit of fun.

Way to go Matt on the new purchase and welcome! I too bought the 650f for my first bike. Use every day to and from work and could not be more happy with the styling and performance. A lot of good and honest advise on this forum helped make my decision to buy the blue and white 09.
Can't wait to see your pics of your new bike and the upgrades.
