Salutations everyone! It took me 30+ years to finally get my first bike. Now that I have snow past my knees, it might take another 30+ days before I can ride. Thought I'd share a pic of my lil Suzu when I picked her up from the showroom a few days ago.

Sled-

I've seen your bike even before joining the forum (youtube) and it's awesome!

BB's got his clean white slippers going on. All of this cold weather gives me more time to order parts. ;)

Alright Gents (and any ladies who would become present) since I'm going for a safe ride and not anything that's 1300cc I figured I'd do a couple of flashy mods here and there.
If/ When I acquire the resources, I am considering the following:
Fresco exhaust
EFX's XLine series street glow led lights
New handle grips and brake lever; either the PSR Click 'N Roll Dagger Brake Lever or a basic carbon fiber look one
Akrapovic Carbon Chain Guard
Flushmount leds
Euro turn signals in the light housing
Ram air intake leds
ccfl halo angel eyes
carbon fiber knobs and windscreen
Orange rim striping
2 small custom vinyl decals
... and a new jacket

Sounds good. Start saving mate, that's a decent list you've got.

Beware of the Angel Eyes. Look into it more before purchasing. I have not seen them personaly but,
the reviews from other members and also comments I've read in other forums have not been good.
Most have said too much of an effort to install, quite fragile and a complete waste of money.

Thanks, I will keep that in mind. i have a few alternatives for each item. Searching around a bit to look at reviews, price and quality.
Some of the other items on my "short" list were:
comparing M4/ 2 Bros/ Yoshimura
Puig rear tire hugger
Rascal tire Grafik
under tail leds
heel guards
HID kit (there are no street lights in my part of town. It's rural farmland)

Any thoughts on anything besides the halos?

I have a very long way to go... I took these quick pics today after purchasing my first (and most basic) items that wouldn't break my pockets.
hard to see in the pics but there's a cf license plate holder, cf tank guard, a few decals for inspiration. I'll probably post an update at the end of "Phase 1.5"
I'm going to focus on some of the safety issues first- front and rear stand, security lock, all the little things in the event she tips over... :o

Your garage looks like my garage lol. I'm from PA also. Center Valley to be exact. Close to allentown. Are you anywhere near since you were mentioning the 30+ inches of snow. Getting more right now :(

Lehigh Valley>Macungie. Working on the garage is on my 'To Do List' this summer (after putting a few miles on her) We're getting more snow at the moment. The sales guy from Blackman's said he should have sold me a snowmobile instead.

My next question was if you got it at Blackmans lol. There's where I got mine a couple years back. I had the black/silver 08. I can't remember the girl's name that sold it to me. Believe it started with an L though. I took it back to them when I need to get body work done due to a highside back in late 08. Steve in the service dept is great to deal with and a really nice guy to boot. Seeing that you are in Macungie, we should get a ride together when it warms up. You are probably only about 10 mins from me if not less. I'm really close to the Promenade Shops. I usually ride with a guy I went to college with. He's got an 04 fz1 and we sometimes are able to get another guy in with a bmw enduro bike and one more guy with an 05 kawasaki 636. One of the better rides on the bikes is up to bear creek. Nice windy road up to the lodge. Lots of fun, just have to be careful on some of the sharper turns lol. Sticky tires are helpful. Anywho, glad to see someone nearby with a new bike. Also, I think Blackman's bike night is actually coming up soon. Got a thing in the mail, but it was a madhouse when I went there last year. Ok, enough rambling.

I'm excited more than ever! I spoke to Steve a few times at Blackman's. My sales guy was Geoffery. Their bike night is coming up the last weekend this month I think. I also talked to a guy at Cycle Gear over on Lehigh Street a lil ways down from the Home Depot. He and I went to the same high school. To be honest, I need a lot more experience under my belt so I'm taking a refresher course through Blackman's. It'll be great to have folks to ride with! Everyone I used to know either moved or doesn't ride anymore. Maybe I'll run into some of you at the bike night.
