considering the purchase for GSX650F

sold a honda shadow 750, great touring bike, great on highway, but its a cruiser.

Is the GSX650F good for the following:

Long highway distance?
AT 140km per hour ( 87.5 miles per hour) is bike consistently smooth going 140km all day (covers alot of distance)? This is approx speed.
Does it Wobble?
Any front end weakness on highway?

In your opinion is this a good choice to learn fundamental sport bike skills, twisties etc - conservative to maybe a little wild on the gauge?

Appreciate responses. Bike are clearing out at Dealers, good time to buy.

I ride mine at 80Mph on the interstate here. The bike is ROCK Solid. There is no movement in the front end. Engine response is great. twist the throttle and you're gone. I installed 1" risers and and Bandit 2007 Seat to make it set a little taller and its an all day ride with no problem.

This bike will do almost everything you ask. If you're looking for pure canyon racer (NO) it you're thinking gold wing (NO) but if you want one bike that will cross all the lines this bike is it.

There is more upright seating but not like a cruiser. But with up bars you're not on the tank either.

Hello and welcome.

I had a M50 cruiser same sort of cc and style ...same bike sort of.
Anyways ,the 650F ,is just as comfortable if not better for long distance.
If you want to cross your country on this bike .
I would add.

Bar risers $70{not needed but would make it more comfy}
A seat cover $70 ..or maybe new sargents seat {all bikes can do with some sort of extra padding}

Thats all that is NEEDED ,I think.
But then you add extras to suit you.

Agree with Larryvon^^^^.
