That's what the guy with the FZ1 was telling me. Everyone he rode with either quit riding or moved away. The dude with the 636 was a little hesitant to start riding with us at first because he doesn't like riding with people the do the stunting and crap like that. Fortunately, I have no interest in trying to weave through traffic at high speeds or riding wheelies for 30 miles so it worked out well and we all have a good time just riding and hitting a few twisties. I took the course from Blackman's as well. I had my permit for a couple of months before my class started. It's great that it's a free class and once you pass the class and the riding portion, they give you your license. More fun to do it there than go to PENNDOT. I still have to order some tires for my bike since the last day I rode this past season I picked up a screw. Luckily I made it home, but it was a little squirrely along the way. Thought it was because the tires were cold and went back out to the garage the following morning and the back tire was completely flat. Figured I would just get a complete set and try the michelin PR2's. I'll be taking the wheels back to blackmans for them to mount and balance the tires. They gave me a nice quote on it. OK, rambling again. Gonna go stare at my bike after all this talk and wish for the snow to hurry and melt away lol.

I got my license back when I lived in NJ for a while. I paid for a course that ended up being pretty informative. Lots of defensive driving/ riding and technical class room work as well as on the bike. Had a bit of a tumble but got back up. Off to Cycle Gear to try to get a jacket tomorrow. I think I need almost $1,000 worth of gear and accessories. Now I know why they say it's an expensive hobby. I might want to get a set of tires and lights to store in case of an emergency. At least anything that I might have to replace or do maintenance on. Everything else is cosmetic for the most part. Picked up 1 or 2 little things at the Blackman's bike night. I feel like I keep making false promises to Suzu (the bike) to take her out soon every night when I tuck her in. (Think the wife is getting jealous.)

Rush, quick question. Do you have a rear stand or a center stand for your bike? If not, I still have the rear stand for my bike. I had to get a different one when I traded the F in because the old rear stand wouldn't fit the new bike. If you want the stand, you are welcome to it. I'll just give it to you. All you'll need to do is get the 10mm spools (I think) for the swing arm. Let me know and we can set up a place to meet or something and I'll give it to you.

Just a couple quick shot while cleaning out her room and painting. Another great day for a quick ride before the mrs. comes home and catches me slacking off. (again)
