I saw a gsx600r with a cut exhaust the other day. They just cut it right where it comes out the side of the frame and welded a tip on there. I thought it looked really nice. I didnt actually hear the bike run though. Just wundering if anyone has done this. If so please paste pic or video so I can get an idea of weather I want to do this or not.

It may not have been just cut off. You can buy aftermarket full race systems that are like that. Lot's of brands offer it, but not for the 650F.
Although it appears like a simple cut off system, they are still built and balanced to run in-tune with the bike.
Just cutting yours off will greatly reduce the backpressure which you kind of need, and will also lose alot of your low end torque.

There is a member on here that did it a while back but I don't think he's around anymore. Do a search for the thread "my slammed 650F"

aight ill give it a shot. I just thought it looked cool not having that big ass can on the side of the bike. I realize now that it was just a tip that you can bolt on after further inspection. I think I have an old one I can bolt on and see what happens as well.

That's interesting I will have to look into that. Britt motorsports the shop I got myt bike from said they could get me one for fairly cheap. I took my exhaust off and rode around the block a few times and it really didn't feel any different from before actually was just a little louder.
