Who has an MRA Vario? How is it?
I'm 6'3 with a big head and I have the Vario. It's tough to gauge but it is a fair improvement over the stock, I just wish I had more protection at higher speeds. I'm contemplating trying out another windscreen but I'm just not sure if it will make any difference.

I have a an MRA touring (non-vario). I am 5'10 and can tell you that anything above 55mph and the wind is hitting me about 2 inches below my shoulders. Since I plan on touring the bike this becomes an issue on the highways. I bought the GIVI touring which gives much better coverage but is also taller. Some people may not like the look but it is more functional....hope this helps...btw i have a short inseam (29in) which needs to be considered when looking at my results, could be totally different for someone who has a shorter torso.

When I had my KLV I fitted my GPS between the screen and the instruments. Now there is obviously not enough room on the F being only 4cm. Could some of you that have alternate screens measure the distance in there. It was an ideal position for the GPS as you still had a good view of the road, via peripheral vision, when glancing at it, and you could take in the instruments at the same time. Cheers guys.

I'm not clear what measurement you are requesting. <---- kinda dense .......................

From the top of the dash to the screen, i.e. roughly at right angles. It's how much room there is under the screen I'm interested in. Don't know if that's any clearer, probably not.

Has anyone tried the MRA touring (not variable)?
thanks
I've got one, I'm 6'0" and I noticed a huge difference. I drive on the highway every day and although I'm still hanging out there in the breeze, I don't get bobble-headed.

I"ve got the MRA touring.
Same as dj2826 said, it got rid of the bobblehead. The turbulance has been pushed up an couple of inches and the wind no longer catches under my helmet snapping my head back in a gust of wind.
Good purchase for me, no regrets. I'm 6 foot and average dimensions.
