I just installed my new exhaust slip on last Thursday and I noticed I have a small air leak where the mid pipe meets the muffler. A small bit of water leaks out from time to time as well. I have adjusted the clamps many times and can't seem to find a solution. Maybe I might need to use some silicone..... let me know if you had the same issue and how you fixed it, and what is a good silicone sealent.

Get some exhaust gasket paste from an auto store. Coat both ends of the pipes with it and tighten the clamp. It will stop any leak after it cures.
