Maybe on the race track faster then our bike, but not on real roads when you have a bit of safety in mind (as in spirited riding)

Higher peak power output, superior suspension, faster all round. but as you say, less comfortable and less suited to sports touring.

Horses for courses. But yeah, calling it an "upgrade" to the 650F, on a 650F forum, is looking for trouble !

No offense intented at all. Just meant for any one looking to move on to a supersport its a great starter. I honestly thought the bike wouldnt be as comfortable as it is but its seat is great, and I can still ride upright for long distance with a slight adjustment in position. My passengers said that the rear seat was more comfortable as well, that the pegs were placed better and that you could actually see over me for once.
But the reason for sale is because its going to be winter here soon and I will be needing money for my car, but mainly because I plan on getting a newer at least 06 GSXR 750 and getting my track license next spring. I do want this bike to go to someone who would love it its in extremely pristine condition! I will probably post it on a kawi forum and see what I get for a response. Cant wait to get back on A Suzuki but I must say I was thoroughly impressed with the kawi, but definately a much more sporty feeling from the instant you take off she just goes, the gears click and it feels so smooth theres no noise, no harshness, no funny false neutrals.They actually wont shift into neutral unless there fully stopped.
Suzuki is still supreme and you can guarantee I will be posting pictures again when I get a new one.

Yeah, Kawasaki transmissions are a pure pleasure to use. My GSXF has already had so many false neutrals on downshifting that I cannot count them while in a year on a Kawasaki I did not have a single false shift or neutral and only the lightest click was needed to shift.

Never had any problem with shifting and the neutral light/indicator. And not shifting in neutral untill the bike is fully stopped is something I would miss. I always click it in neutral from 2nd when approaching a traffic light.

I must agree and was fully impressed. But to kaddett as you said i like to sometimes shift into N from 2nd sometimes as well but cant. But I feel much safer shifting through the gears on one wheel when i no it wont mess up and send me slamming back down to the ground.

What I meant by false neutral, and I probably have the term wrong, is that the transmission will get into a state where it will not downshift or upshift until the clutch has been somewhat released and re-engaged. On a recent trip where I had the bike hot all day it would do it every time I stopped for gas and was prepared to leave, like clockwork. At a guess, I'd say tolerances in the transmission were changing with heating and cooling cycles. On a Kawasaki, that doesn't happen.
