out in the desert with no traffic. 152mph, m4 carbon slip-on. in full leather and chin on tank tuck. with stock pipe I topped out at 147mph. weight reduction helps. IMHO.

Only one member here has stated the magic words (or letters) GPS!!!!! and a top speed of 126mph.
I only once ever took mine to about 224km/h (speedo) and that's close to all it had to give with stock gearing. If you factor in a 7% innacuracy on the speedo it was realisticaly only around 208km/h. (130mph)
No amount of weight reduction, fancy pipes, air filters, fuel mapping or ignition timing will get you higher speeds compared to everyone else.........if ya still running stock gearing!
I have now been up to 120 MPH ... again in traffic and knowing the speedometer is mistaken at such speeds. Have not yet had a chance to get out on a long straightaway.

I have'nt taken the Zuk out for a full speed run yet, but a few weeks ago I was riding in a small group of bikes on flat land, no hills, and after our ride, my Zumo GPS showed top speed of 129 mph. I think that was when we passed 3 18-wheelers on a little 2 lane road on a long, straight stretch. I know I was full throttle from 4th to 6th during the pass.
just did a fun run earlier with GPS in pocket, speedo at 224 GPS 204 (Kph) (139mph/ 126mph) fastest on dial was 235 on a incline so approx 214kph (132mph) 10% error

That 242km/h on stock gearing. So minus the 10% you get about 220km/h, the same as me. Unless you were looking at a GPS speed?! The 1250F is indicated at 145mph, about 235km/h so on the speedo you probably get 255-260km/h on the speedo.

At the CMS Charlotte Motor Speedway a few months ago, we topped 147 on the bike in stock trim. Better tires, throttle body mods, removed mirrors, different exhaust package, lowed the bike 1.5 inches..........161 we hit that 3 times on 3 laps.
However at that speed the frame is doing all it can to handle the stress. While it's not going to break, you can feel the wiggle.
161.......just inside the red line for 5 laps......
