Two weeks ago tomorrow a young lady in an old Ford pick-up decided to pull out in front of me, well I missed her, but laid the bike down on the right side, slid about 45 feet down the road before I stopped, bike went a little farther, hey remember that muffler that stuck out so far, well it completely saved the engine cases, not a scratch on 'em, anyway fairing is battle scared, the ATV bars saved the gas tank, again not a scratch, what really pissed me off was my Killboy decal got destroyed, oh and I lost all the skin on my right knee cap, and a knuckle on my right hand, no more just blue jeans for me, will be getting armored pants as soon as I heal up enough to try some on, my Joe Rocket jacket has a few scars and small burn spots, but nothing major, good for at least one or two more slides, the armor really does work, anyway the turn signal was ground to powder, so I got some flush ones off of EBAY for $19 and change, look pretty good, used parts of the old signal mount to put these over the hole in the fairing where the originals mounted,, well catch yas later, Daveg

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Heal up quick!

Those look like the same style signals I went with after dropping my bike. I saw that they are now advertised as coming with 23 watt bulbs from luckybike. I these are them, can you confirm that? Mine came with 10 watt bulbs and I had to farkle them to put 21 watt bulbs in them. 10 watts just wasn't cutting it in terms of visibility.

Thanks for the good wishes guys, been 3 weeks, knee is covered with skin again, but still tender, yes my ebay turn signals came with 23 watt bulbs, work great, got me a pair of leather and mesh pants off of ebay fo $93, not a bad pair for the money, full length zippers up both sides, full zipper around waist and 8 inch for hooking up to my jackets, should keep the road rash away, went to Cycle Gear in Daytona last week, found some great deal's on jackets and gloves, got two MotoBoss mess jackets and a nice pair of leather mesh Frank Thomas gloves for $100, the jackets are their own brand, nice jacket for the price, more padding than my Joe Rocket one, hope to be back on the road this week if the weather cooperates, catch yas later,,
