So I'm riding home on Friday afternoon last, down a straight road between a golf course and a necropolis.
Something white is on the road and heading towards me - it's a golf ball, headed right at my front wheel.
No time to avoid it, so I made sure I was vertical and rode straight over it.
Damn thing hit the front tyre and was spat out to the right at about a billion miles an hour, straight into the passenger door of the Subaru beside me!
Driver hit the skids at the sound of the impact, and I rolled on the throttle to get clear of him - all is good...

Caught up with him at the next lights and explained what hit him; dude was clearly upset but had no problem with me, so we rode/drove our separate ways.

That's a new one for me.

Damn! I was thinking you might have came up with a way to fire golf balls out the exaust at the folks tailgating you. That would be awsome.

Golf courses typically have insurance for errant golf balls. Not sure if this fits, but the other guy should have gone to the club house, with the golf ball if he could find it.

Now we know what to do with the ram-air intake.... twin-mini-potato guns. James Bond style!

.... And blame the ensuing havoc upon the local gentleman's club.

When I rolled on the throttle during this incident, I went from 80Km/h to 120Km/h in about half a second - somehow, tailgating on the F has never been a problem for me...
But if you're seriously boxed in and can't GTFOOT, try turning around and making eye contact with the driver - usually works when I'm on the 250 in traffic...
