In short
Yes it will run if you just plug it in Yes it takes a lot of tweeking to get it to run close to OK. However it is not for the faint of heart or the backyard tinkerer. It also take a fair amount of dicking around Not worth the money or time IMO unless you have a never ending budget and do other stuff to the engine.
