Hi guys, I just got my new 2010 gsx650f and I am looking for a fender eliminator. I did some research but I can't find anything for the 2010 model. Any suggestions? Also, which slip on exhaust would you recommend for a nice sound, not annoying though and legal as well for Canada? Any other mods recommended and/or suggestions are greatly appreciated...thank you in advance!

what part of canada are you from...? Not sure if you'll find anything legal! I have a yoshi trc, says for race applications only but I doubt you'll ever get any trouble. as for your fender elim I doubt they have changed the fender to a point where you couldn't use a comp werkes eliminator. "but I don't know for sure"

I have a two brothers M2 carbon fiber slip on exhaust, and it sounds amazing. It is not to loud but just right, I've had many complements on it. I used the competition werkes fender eliminator kit and painted it black. There is some cutting and drilling required but it looks really good, and you can use the existing rear turn signals so you won't have to rewire. I have a 2009 so I doubt there is much difference in the 2010 model.

Piece of piss to fit. http://www.solomotoparts.com/product.ph ... 383&page=1 Thats where i got mine from, cheap as chips, and with the express post, it got to me in Rural Australia in just under a week. It looks a little something like this-

Uses all the stock indicators and wiring, except for the number plate light which they provide you with a little LED, and 2 wire connectors. Easy.
Now, get in there with a haxaw and go nuts!!!

Dashy,
Your bike looks great! I spray painted my Competition Werks and swapped out the blinkers. Not an easy or perfect fit but then again, I think anything more than 20 min is a labor of love.

So what's the finish on that one out of the box? The website suggests it's stainless but I don't wanna have to convert my garage into a spraybooth (again...).

It's silver out of the box. I just went down to Autobarn and grabbed a $10 can of matt black spray paint and went nuts 5 minutes work in preperation, and so far, after a few washes (if my ike goes more than a week without a wash then there has to be some form of emergency like a funeral or something to keep me from it), some wet weather riding, alot of road work, it's still black.
Just FYI too Obo64, all my mods so far, have been suitable for this bike from 08 onwards. I dont think theres many changes to the frame or engine in the years gone by, so go nuts. But a yoshi, leave it unbaffled, drop some teeth at the front, anything thing thats good for the 08 is good for our bike...

Thank you so much guys! You all have been great getting back to me, much appreciated!. Did any of you see the undertail tailguard from Powerbronze? Here is the link:
Did anybody know more about it, the fit etc? Any cuttings with this one or its going to replace the whole fender? Also, do we need and tire hugger if the fender is eliminated?

My rear hugger has done 3 parts of fuck all in the way of deflecting mud and stuff lol... All it seems to do is keep my rear shock clean, which is a plus If you want one, try this http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SUZUKI-GSX-6 ... 1e5ef2f306
Thats where i got mine, and it fits perfectly... No need for adjustment or anything like tat... But that tail tidy looks awesome!
