This year, on the 23rd June, my little bro' has decided to do something that he has been thinking about doing for some time. At the same time he is hoping to raise lots of money for Acorns Childrens Hospice.
Acorns Children’s Hospice here in Worcester, England provides care and support for children and young people who have life limiting or life threatening conditions and provides support for their families. It costs £750 per day for each child’s care. Acorns relies on the community to fund over 70% of its activities.
He is going to ride from John O'Groats to Land's End in one day. As I'm sure you are all aware, this is the longest distance between any two points on the UK mainland and amounts to around 860 miles. Starting out at Sunrise at around 0400 he'll have 17.5 hours of light until Sunset at 2130.
If you would like to support him in this challenge and help the children and their families that are supported by this amazing charity please make a donation by either visiting: -
