I have just completed my first full ride on my new bike. Have been riding a Yamaha 600 FZR- longest I could be on the bike was 1 hour, after which I had a sore back an wrists ( maybe because I'm 50!)
My new Suzuki has been a dream! 3 hours the first day without being sore.
Able to ride with my wife on the back for the first time, with virtualy no loss in speed . We had a great time. Managed to put in 400 km the first day ( Canadian obviously) with her on the back, tough time keeping it under 6000. Kinda angry at the sales dealership- told me 7000 rpm until I read the manual first, had to read the manual for the panel info as well.
Yes, the weight did take awile to get used to, also found out you should not wear shorts on the bike after it has been ridden- burned my calf muscle on the muffler! ( Not used to the large stock muffler.

Isn't wonderful? The 650F let's me take much longer rides and very little ibu to keep the pain away. I love this model. I also had a tough time with the break in period but I just kept it to the side roads. I also want to take the stock can off and replace it with a 2Bros or Scorpion, but waiting for the stock can to fail or get scratched...I just can't bring myself to take off a perfectly good part. As for shorts, not going to happen with me...ATGATT, with the expection of jeans once in awhile.
Have fun riding and be safe!
