Thanks to Kath on this forum. I got my '08 GSX650F six days ago. It's a good dream bike.
I will be selling my little green 2 fiddy. It is a great learning bike.
My new bike gives me a lot more confidence on the road. Rode it to and from Portland, Oregon this week. I hate rush hour traffic on I-5. My son needed a little help with his car tires, and it was a good reason to ride to Portland.
Nice to hear of another 650F owner in Oregon, I'm Dan down in Medford(southern Oregon) I have the 650F in blue, with some mods. It's a great bike welcome aboard.

Thanks Kath.
And Dan, if the riders who post at Motorcycles on the about.com, if they go on another Crater Lake Ride next summer, I will try to let you know about it. By happenstance, there's several motorcycle riders in Oregon who post a lot on that motorcycle forum. They all have different kinds of bikes. Kath might be too far away to do it. Although there is a guy who comes down from Vancouver, BC to ride it.
