 Post subject: Houston Area -- last minute group ride 8:30 Saturday

Just got a text message from a friend. Group of about 15 are meeting up in Sealy for a ride Saturday morning. 8:30 - about 12:00 ending up at a BBQ.

DJ, just had a quick look at the map and worked out that it's about 4,990 miles from my house to Sealy as the crow flies and think I can just about make it for the Saturday ride if I set off now.

Before I fully commit, can you give me an idea of what's on the BBQ? Given that you live in big bad Texas, none of the nancy veggy stuff I hope?

Hopefully, one day, you might fancy a return trip to beautiful England, which unlike Texas, is continually blessed with rain, snow, ice, sleat, hail, thunder and lightening and about 10 minutes of sunshine in a good summer.
