Hey Folks, So I've put more than 1,000 miles on my Suzi and I remember a discussion earlier about, whether to paint of powder coat the Rims. I decided to have the shop which I bought mine from powder coated in White (I know, can be a pain, because of the cleaning, yet I personally love my bike CLEAN!, so after every ride, I wipe her down ).
Now over those 1,000 miles, I drove super slap, one lane country road, 2 lane county hwy and SR's, down town in to constructions zone, you name it. Meaning, apart from the occasional bug or ROCK which I get hit with, my Rims got it as well and so far, knocking on wood, no chipping no blemish no nothing.
So far, I have nothing against the powder coating.

Alright, ALRIGHT! I'll get my rims coated, OK?! Actually I noticed paint flaking off the front while I was polishing last weekend, so I'd already decided...
Now to decide the colour - I really do like the white...

Please post images and a general price range to expect and turn-around time.
Hey Rush, Sorry didn't catch your inquiry, here's a pic from my Suzi with White rims. It did cost me $500, incl disassembly, reassembly and Tax. It did take about a week, actually 3 days, yet a weekend was inbetween.

I have to wash mine this afternoon, despite it being cleaned last Sunday - why? Because I'm going riding with Unkle tomorrow, and it used to be his bike!

I like too, did you use a stock Suzuki rim color ? Or is it the very snazzy sparkle white that is on the fairing and tail. Thats the color i would want, yet that would be a wet spray ver powder coat.

Hey F104s, thanks for the like. The picture doesn't really bring it out, yet I've asked the shop who did it, to use the stock Suzuki White and in an wet finish, it's a tad more chreme but when it's clean, it looks like a nice mirror. I've got the Powerbronze Cowl and will together with those 2 "ugly" black side panels have them painted in that white, so the entire bike comes neatly as one unit.

It gives the bike a bit of character for sure. agree only a blue and white could pull it off
Hey cromlice, totally agreed, only the Blue/White can do that. I saw the other day a black one with silver Rims, boy did I start drooling
