I received my PowerBronze hugger today and just finished installing it. For the price of the thing I'm a bit disappointed on fitment, mainly the darn metal bracket that attaches to the hugger. I spent more time bending the thing to align the hugger correctly to the rear tire! I was thinking it was going to be a simple 5 min install!
For those of you who have installed this, did you have the same problem?

No i really didn't have to bend anything but it did take a bit to get it all centered up but then again i'm a perfectionist. Overall i'm happy with it and it keeps the crap off of my shock and such.

Same here, I spent a lot of time getting it centered but couldnt do it without making bends to the bracket. Thanks for sharing your experience.
I managed to install mine without bending the mounting bracket. I had to move it a couple of times to get it right though. Also painted the bracket black.
Did a 150km test ride and it didn't fall off or rip the tire to shreds

they look really good on the black bikes, glossy black makes it blend really well, I just ordered a white one for my blue/white because i think the glossy black looks really low quality with blue/white
i install a puig rear hugger and i dont have any problems installing it, great fitment and great quality of materials, i think that is one of the best, and have a more sporting look. so dont worry bigbutt!!!!!!!!!!1

No problems installing, i did paint the bracket, and painted less chain guard, vigor blue. What IS bad the chain side IS prone to crack at the screw holes, i backed up those areas with sheet aluminum, held in place with small machine bolt and nuts, and RTV sealent.
The attaching hardware i cut down to make flush and am using SS nuts with self locking nylon inserts. I wrote Power Bronze about the issues, the real carbon side covers have even more problems, yet not a word back.
Here is a pic of the hugger
