I promised downforce & Sleddog to post a couple of pics of the seat cowl. The cowl is white, but I plan to add some blue decoration soon. Installation is easy - just slide the cowl into position over the seat and clip it into place with the clips already on the cowl. Must admit that the black or carbon fibre cowl suit the black bike more than the white cowl on the blue bike. Not unhappy that I got it though.

AUD$382 through Clive at Powerbronze. Took quite a long while to come in. I think at the time the black & carbon were in stock and they were waiting on the manufacturer for the white.

After Sleddog gave me the info, I emailed the guy for a white one, they don't have any, also when you try to checkout, Australia is not in the countries available, so at present I am waiting to see if they can ship a CB look one to me here in OZ. Will let you know the answer when and if I get one.

Papa R-
Looks good, but I was wondering when you have time if you could take a picture of the bottom to show us how it hooks up. Also if possible take a picture of the cowel installed , but the grab bar removed?

Wrongturn, there are 4 metal hinges that you bend to fasten on to the seat. Just slide the cowl onto your seat then bend the hinge when satisfied. Never thought of taking the grab bar off.............interesting idea !

No prob at speed. Had a look at removing the grab bar (sorry Wrongturn, my gear stays on) and the cowl would not look as good due to the recessed area that the grab bar is fitted into (if that makes sense). Once you removed the grab bar, you are left with a space that makes the tail unit look odd, particularly with a cowl.
